You will work closely with Requirements, Courseware, and Media Teams to define technical data needs for Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) courseware and media.

You will also support the contextualisation of training material to ensure correct language, standards, and conditions are applied.

You will oversee the Transmission Tower structural assessment and design outputs, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, while also identifying improvements in team delivery and fostering staff development, maintaining close collaboration with the UK Principal Structural Engineer and the Head of Engineering.

You will also ideally be an Incorporated or Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM. You’ll have previous experience of developing detailed designs, working in a contractor led environment, leading and developing civil engineers and managing other technical professionals to achieve holistic technical outcomes.

You must have a driver's licence and access to a vehicle for this role. What you should bring to the role The essential criteria you need:Be a recognised senior engineer (Chartered or close to achieving Chartered Status) in Mechanical Engineering with experience in the water industry or a closely related equivalent sector.
