You will be joining an established and knowledgeable down to earth team. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

You will lead, coach and develop a shift-based engineering team while remaining actively involved in maintenance, breakdown response, fabrication and improvement work. You'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and building a high-performance, safety-first culture.

You will be an integral part of your team, ensure the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and work as part of a well-regarded, focused maintenance team.

You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds.

You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet. You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGV#s) refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials (vans), trailers and tippers- The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)
