You will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, manufacturable designs that meet both customer and internal specifications. This role involves full product lifecycle management - from initial concept and prototyping through to documentation, supplier engagement, and supporting production teams.

You will need to be degree educated in an engineering discipline and hold exacting standards when it comes to quality.

You will employ a lean mindset, understand cost improvement initiatives and enjoy the creativity to develop new ideas and standards.

You will ensure the business is invited to quote as many relevant projects as possible, using a combination of market intelligence platforms, outbound engagement, and long-term relationship building. The role involves a balance of telephone-based activity, face-to-face meetings, site visits, and ongoing contractor engagement.

You will shape how our engineers build, test, release, and monitor software, ensuring frictionless workflows while keeping ownership of business logic, test quality, and development practices firmly with the product engineering teams.
