You will help shape how devices are assessed and qualified for use in space, drawing on existing data, modelling, and targeted testing where appropriate. - This role suits a physicist or engineer with research experience and strong technical writing skills, who wants to move into applied space work.

You will work across mechanical, optical, and analytical disciplines to ensure that complex mechanical systems, sub-systems, and mechanisms come together into a robust, high-performance product.

You will take ownership of overseeing the lifecycle of the mechanical systems, ensuring that they integrate seamlessly with one another.

You will work with wider reams to integrate computer vision models into various applications used across the business. The company are based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire and require office working of 4 days a week. Technical Requirements:Come from a Physics or Computer Vision background.

You must be based in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford. - During peak periods, some longer hours may be required and some working across multiple time zones due to the global nature of the programme.

You will work on a variety of research projects across the University of Oxford, deliver workshops and training in software development best practices, and further develop your own technical and research skills as well as those outside of software development, such as project management and consultancy.
