Postdoctoral Research Scientist jobs in Merseyside

You will work on real production problems rather than research-only work, owning models from first iteration through to live deployment.

You will collaborate closely with other data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps, with the freedom to shape how GenAI and ML are used across the platform.

You will also be tasked to improve the analysis and visualisation of data as well as determine improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Hair Category capability through the optimisation of instrumentation, methods and data handling processes, and the building of links between objective measures of performance and consumer perception.

You will propose, define, and implement the strategy for measurement methodologies and techniques that define technology performance for the hair category.

You will need to be comfortable understanding Unilever’s current appearance measurement and modelling capabilities, as well as the latest technologies, digital tools, modelling, and competitors’ know-how.

You will have well-developed research skills with the ability to effectively present research findings in oral and written format.
