You should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with SEND or within small group settings. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with the SENCo and support staff.

You will need to have great communication with the staff members to be flexible and work in a range of classrooms.
