You will support pupils who need extra support to complete tasks or have difficulty engaging with schoolwork.

You will also watch for challenging behaviour and help pupils promote positive behaviour while offering emotional support to help pupils in their emotional and social development, and you will inform other staff about any issues.

You will play a vital role in helping children access learning, develop positive behaviour, and regulate their emotions. Responsibilities include:

You will be contacted by your personal consultant (if shortlisted) for the Primary Behaviour Teaching Assistant role within 48 hours.

You will help them take part in lessons, encourage independence (even with personal care), support them in learning new skills, and help them make friends.

You will be required to support children and young people with additional support needs to help them to overcome barriers to their learning and be able to reach their full potential either in Learning Centres or mainstream classes.
