You will act as the Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act, ensuring the highest standards of psychiatric care across medium and low secure services.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

You will develop and oversee rehabilitation pathways for forensic patients transitioning to lower security settings. Working closely with probation services, police, and the Ministry of Justice, you will coordinate care.

You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff.

You will play a strategic role in our organisational growth with new services, with a focus on shaping service delivery; offering specialist advice, supervising assistant psychologists and postgraduate research.
