You will be supporting clients in a person-centred way to move on to their own accommodation, you will man the security office with another experienced member of staff, and carrying out a walk round check once an hour to ensure that everything is well within the service. Required experience; * Strong de-escalation and talk down experience.

You will be working as part of an amazing team at With You, and supporting Change, Grow, Live to deliver the young people's element of the exciting service, Smokefree Lancashire. This role is term-time only and the advertised salary will be pro rata. We offer a starting salary of £25,000, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £30,000 per year.

You will have a minimum of 12 months experience in the care industry, preferably working in the community with Learning Difficulties/Autistic clients and will have an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or be working towards it. A full, clean UK Driving Licence would be advantageous but not essential.

You will be working with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been placed into the care system for numerous reasons with an array of disorders, behaviours and needs and therefore require individuals who have the confidence, patience and skill set to successfully work with these young people and make a positive impact on their lives.

You will hold a caseload of residents and act as their primary point of contact, delivering structured, consistent and person centred support.
