Procurement Manager jobs in Derby

You will join a small - mid size clinical trial supply business who are growing day by day, securing new deals and strengthening relationships. That means a lot of growth, starting with the procurement team. They are seeking a confident director of procurement coming with strong experience of sourcing comparators.

You will be responsible for the strategic souring and operational buying.

You must have procurement / commercial experience in: concrete (inc. Volumetric concrete), utilities, street works & plant machinery (inc. lifting / crane hire).

You will lead the development and deployment of major transformation projects, systems and / or process development and deployment as part of our exciting Supply Chain Transformation journey.

You will also be responsible for: - Process purchase requisitions - Identifying new suppliers, managing purchasing contracts and suppliers - Purchasing equipment, consumables and controlling overhead cost - Assisting with negotiating prices - Reporting on vendor spend - Build relationships with new and existing suppliers
