You will lead a team of 10 people in the 1 st stage of production consisting of plasma cutters and presses. This department is highly important to the business, you are the front line of Production and your team have a real impact on the production schedule. Some of the main responsibilities of this Production Supervisor are listed below:

You must have proven experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment which must include either CNC applications, Robot cells or Plc controls. And either currently hold a supervisory post or hold a lead maintenance role where you have had some exposure to managing PM activity, issuing permits, organising contractors and mentoring apprentices.

You will previously have worked as a PLC programmer, automation engineer, controls engineer, industrial drives engineer, electrical design engineer, automation design engineer, EC&I engineer, production engineer or electrical engineer, along with experience in the below: - Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal, WinCC) – S7-1500/1200, Safety PLCs, Ladder Logic.

You will have full responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining control and instrumentation systems across multiple manufacturing lines with a mix of creating systems from concept for brand new lines and creating modifications for existing equipment.
