You will apply advanced engineering principles and design practices to create optimised mechanical concepts that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, durability, and serviceability. You will lead the design and development of critical components for major projects, ensuring innovation meets performance. The RoleIn this position, you will apply specialised engineering principles to create optimised design concepts and mechanical specifications.

You will be responsible for balancing cost, weight, and performance with manufacturing and serviceability requirements.

You will lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, taking ownership from concept through to detailed design and validation. This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders.

You will be responsible for creating optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications for products, parts, components, and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, reliability, durability, and serviceability.
