You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store. Key responsibilities include:

You will demonstrate a proactive mindset for process development, assist in increasing automation and utilisation of equipment, support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities, whilst supporting colleagues and Managers to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives.

You should also be happy to handle uncooked meat. No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative as full training is provided. PPE is provided for you, but it is advised that you wear warm clothing while on site. Key Information and Benefits

You will be working in slaughtering performing precision functions involving the preparation of meat. Work may include specialized slaughtering tasks, cutting standard or premium cuts of meat for marketing.

You will be starting at 06:30 and finishing when production finishes, this will be Monday to Friday.

You will be based in and working at our Supported Accommodation service in Bodmin, Cornwall

You will work Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts each week from 06.45 to 17.45 (10.5 hours each shift) and one weekday night-time shift from 17.45 to 06.45 (12.5 hours). Although youll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings

You will manage stock, budgets, staffing, and menu development, while also preparing to launch an evening service and strengthen our appeal to local customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, particularly during peak seasonal periods with high visitor volume.
