You will apply your expertise in DMRB, MCHW, Eurocodes and modern design standards to produce high-quality engineering solutions for complex highway structure schemes. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will plan, coordinate and manage allocated schemes while providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.

You will then negotiate the contract sum within the budget, including finalising costs to cover all late variations.

You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors; negotiating the cost of variations including liaising between Buyers and Build Managers.

You will provide a full range of pricing information for purchaser's extras.

You will oversee health and safety procedures, risk assessments and statutory requirements.

You will also be involved in budget management and will be required to develop excellent stakeholder relationships.

You should have strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance standards.
