Works comprise of RC structures, roads, drainage, paving, steel frame and exterior cladding. You will support the growth and development of the team, guiding them in applying modern engineering practices including TDD, CI/CD and code quality gates. Lead in complex technical design, contribute to technical roadmaps, POCs and solution proposals, whilst developing and maintaining high quality, secure and scalable software.

You will join the Centre for Advanced Laser Technology and Applications (CALTA) team and support the high peak power 100 Hz and 1 kHz projects by developing laser designs, setting up prototype systems and conducting experimental test campaigns.

You will take part in international collaborations and routinely engage with external experts.

You will contribute to this by working in an efficient way to ensure that all KPI's are met and an excellent customer experience is delivered.

You will co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure that works are completed on a 'can-do, first-time fix' basis, and carrying out work of a high quality.
