You will utilise innovative or advanced qualitative methods, such as system mapping, co-design methods, ethnographic methods, creative methods and/or theory-based/realist evaluation, to ensure accurate outcomes for research.

You will utilize your qualitative skills to understand consumer behavior in the technology sector. Responsibilities include project management and client management on a variety of innovative projects. This role offers strong career progression opportunities within a collaborative culture.

You will have an undergraduate degree in bioethics, philosophy, sociology or psychology and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline and/or experience in mental health/wellbeing science and PPIE approaches and frameworks. A good understanding of phenomenological research methods, including data collection, coding, analysis and writing up is essential.

You will be based at UoP and line-managed by Susie Pearce.

You will contribute to fieldwork, support analysis, and help write academic and stakeholder-facing outputs.

You will be required to travel regularly to Plymouth as well as collecting data from health and care providers in the regions listed above.

You will be responsible for: Recruiting customers from our internal panel to attend live research sessions, both online and face to face, including scheduling research sessions. Running recruitment screener questionnaires via our in-house survey tool and customer panel. Pre-screening phone calls to potential research attendees.

You will be familiar with a broad range of research methods in the design, development and management of research and analysis projects, with deeper understanding of some methods across areas such as econometrics, survey design, modelling or qualitative research techniques
