You will bring senior experience in a library, research or cultural collections environment and deep expertise in open research. With a proven track record in effective services for researchers, you combine a passion for innovation and stakeholder engagement with the ability to inspire teams, shape strategy and collaborate across the University and the wider sector.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff delivering a consistent high-quality service for clients, ensuring that repeat and new business opportunities are developed and profitability is achieved. In this key and varied role, you can expect to:

You will have a good technical knowledge in the primary discipline of fire safety design.

You will be IT literate with a working understanding of fire modelling software analysis tools.

You should have excellent communication skills and an interest in working in a team environment.

You will be responsible for identification of fantastic prospects, working on innovative prospecting projects, working with fundraisers to drive prospect relationships forward, ensuring our CRM is kept up to date with prospect data, producing informative and insightful donor profiles, conducting fundraiser pool reviews; and preparing due diligence papers.

You will lead client engagements, manage project lifecycles from feasibility through to completion, and support strategic business development initiatives.

You will also be responsible for two direct reports, with the opportunity to mentor and develop junior talent within the team.

You will be trusted to run matters independently, think commercially, and deliver work to a high standard with minimal supervision. Commercial contracts experience is an advantage, but strong corporate capability is essential. The work is varied, often complex, and frequently cross-border.

You will receive a comprehensive induction, training, and awareness sessions to support your effectiveness in the role - A commitment to provide the time (circa 20 days per annum) and energy required is essential.
