You will have a passion for understanding and championing the user.

You will have experience of working on products and services in a public sector environment, conducting user research on projects to a high ethical standard, with knowledge of government service standards and principles.

You will liaise with clinical investigators, sponsor companies and external vendors to manage trial protocols.

You will be expected to participate fully in your own personal development.

You will manage multiple studies and sites from set up to closure.

You will be responsible for participant screening, eligibility, and provision of information to facilitate effective informed consent or assent.

You will be proficient in explaining why your chosen program of work is suitable in each individual context. From problem through to solution, you will continue to lead the research through production, experimentation and build ensuring the final product experience is delivered in line with the original vision to the highest standards of craft and utility.

You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH. Applicants are encouraged to apply for posts at Greater Manchester Mental Health who have direct experience of mental health, learning disability or drug and alcohol services either as a service user or a carer.

You will hold a Master's degree in relevant subject area (PhD desirable)

You will have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area

You will have successful track record of teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds on HE programmes

You will have proven experience of providing individual and group study skills support in response to identified learning needs

You will champion inclusive design practices throughout our project lifecycles, ensuring solutions are accessible to as many users as possible. This includes engaging with diverse user research, applying accessibility guidelines and legislation, and advocating for inclusive design principles in your deliverables.

You will act as the primary point of contact for site-level matters, ensuring participant safety, regulatory compliance, and the smooth running of research activities, while providing leadership, guidance, and support to the on-site research team.
