You will oversee four projects and diverse teams within the Bracknell Forest Council area.

You will be responsible for upholding regulatory responsibilities (OFSTED), ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our customers, and driving continuous improvement through quality assurance.

You will work closely with a variety of agencies including health, social care and the police, providing high quality coordination, data management and administrative support to the Child Death Overview Panel.

You will be able to work with sensitivity, professionalism and discretion in a role that involves managing highly confidential and sometimes distressing information.

You will work closely with occupational therapists, surveyors, contractors and housing partners to coordinate housing adaptations, manage grant applications, analyse tenders and ensure works are completed to specification.

You must have a current Social Work England registration and at least three years post qualifying experience within Children’s Social Care that includes child protection.

You will role model and champion good social work practice, are able to evidence relevant continued professional development and will support others in sharing your knowledge and experience to contribute to our inclusive culture.

You will have senior leadership experience and a strong commitment to delivering our CQC improvement plan, ensuring that adult social care maintains its "Good" CQC rating while further embedding the Target Operating Model.

You will bring substantial post‐qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a deep understanding of assessment, planning and intervention to ensure that children and their families receive needs‐led, tailored support.

You must have a current Social Work England registration and have successfully completed your ASYE in a statutory children social care setting.
