You will support the team to operate a robust financial risk management framework and have the chance to shape and improve our risk management processes.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead a team of two actuarial students and to establish constructive working relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues across the group. Key stake holders will include Lloyd's and the INEDs. This would a great step-up for a senior actuary looking to move into a capital leadership role.

You will be a qualified actuary with experience in the non-life insurance market. Be able to combine technical analysis with commercial judgement. Possess strong communication skills with experience of presenting to committees. Be comfortable working with large, complex or limited datasets.

You will lead deep-dive portfolio analysis and communicate the results in order to improve processes. Previous GI reserving experience is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience using tools such as VBA, SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages is also required.

You will manage and perform regular reserving exercises across a diverse range of classes, build strong relationships across functions and be involved in the UK regulatory capital calculation and capital projection processes.
