You will be expected to undertake tasks within RDT and make a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of RDT. The primary focus of the role will involve working on a national basis supporting the RDT and communicating with RSM colleagues in their local office/region.

You will be working in a growing indirect tax team getting involved in a range of VAT advisory matters with client base including large business down to SMEs & Start-ups. A very interesting operation across the UK you will form part of a national advisory team being based in Manchester.

You will be a proactive networker, contributing to the firm’s marketing activities by organising and attending various events. In order to develop and grow the department, you will suggest new initiatives and will take responsibility for targeting contacts and ensuring business relationships are formed and developed over time.

You will have your own portfolio of UK and international businesses, working with business owners and gaining involvement in everything from mergers, corporate restructuring (demergers / shares for share exchanges), exit planning and MBOs, Business Investment Relief and remittance planning, stamp duty land tax planning advice, to name a few.

You will help clients achieve their funding objectives across sectors, advising on optimal capital structures, buy and sell‐side projects, growth capital, refinancings, and restructuring.
