You will be expected to work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCo, and wider support team to provide consistency, structure, and appropriate interventions. You will help students develop confidence with economic theory, data interpretation, and exam skills, both in lessons and through targeted intervention sessions.

You will provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties, helping them access learning and develop confidence in the classroom.

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support and promote inclusion.

You should hold either a relevant teaching assistant qualification (such as a CACHE Level 3) or a university degree (although this does not necessarily need to relate to childcare or education). Roles for university graduates and Level 3 qualified teaching assistants are available in both primary and secondary settings in Tower Hamlets.

You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to help maintain consistent expectations and ensure every child is supported to make steady progress.
