SEBD Teaching Assistant jobs in England

You will be required to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and your role will be to help reignite their love for learning, build their confidence, be that trusted adult the student needs and help them to believe in themselves.

You will ideally live in the Portsmouth area as all students live locally.

You will take full responsibility for the Year 4 class, working closely with teaching assistants and year group colleagues to ensure pupils make consistent academic and personal progress. Key Responsibilities - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.

You will work closely with an experienced SEN team to support pupils with communication, sensory, social and emotional needs, helping them access learning, regulate behaviour and build independence within a structured and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD, in line with individual EHCPs and behaviour support plans
