You will provide strong phase leadership, ensuring consistent approaches to teaching, learning and assessment, while embedding whole-school policies and expectations.

You will work closely with SEN staff and external agencies to ensure pupils with special educational needs are well supported.

You will be working with children and young people with complex educational needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours.

You will set the vision for the future of the school, ensuring we have the right people and plans in place to see that our young people leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved.

You will lead a committed and talented team of teachers and support staff, driving a culture of high expectations.

You will have the skills and knowledge to implement an effective graduated response and ensure that high quality target setting is implemented within planning and teaching.

You will have a good understanding of assessment and how to manage funding.

You will ensure our school continues to benefit from, and contributes to, local and regional networks, disseminating guidance and training.

You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you re really proud of.
