You will be working with a child on the neuro pathway to a diagnosis of ASD, so you will ideally need to have previous experience working with SEN in order to support this child. As this is a long-term role, you will need to be available tomit fully to the role in order to give the child and the school continued support.

You will provide tailored support to SEND pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, ensuring they remain engaged and make progress in line with their learning goals. Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with a specific child in the Reception cohort. Your focus will be on implementing their individual learning plan, supporting their social integration, and helping them navigate the morning routine.

You will join the wider Reception team to support the whole class.

You must have the legal right to work in the UK

You will be working in a 1 to 1 capacity with students who have complex emotional and behavioural needs. These students often come from traumatic backgrounds and are disengaged with mainstream education.
