You will play a key part in shaping and delivering our health & safety management framework.

You will be confident in the use of Microsoft applications and capable of managing and administering health & safety software systems.

You will be notified by email from Disclosure Scotland that your certificate is available to view.

You will help to provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems, touching on a variety of areas of law. This may include drafting new professional rules and guidance and advising on the SRA's own operations.

You will work closely with our team members and others across the organisation, as well as with external stakeholders including external counsel and solicitors.

You will be appointed as either a Legal Adviser or as a Senior Legal Adviser, depending on experience and qualifications relevant to the criteria in below Candidate Pack.

You will advise on legal obligations and regulatory powers, interpret statutes such as the Solicitors Act 1974, Administration of Justice Act 1985 and Legal Services Act 2007, and how they apply to the SRA.

You will help provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems, draft professional rules and guidance, and advise on the SRA's own operations.

You will also coordinate the workload with Tendering/Commercial, Project Management, and Procurement teams, gathering required inputs from supporting functions such as Insurance, Tax, and Finance.

You will also support clients further by providing comprehensive Protection Advice alongside their mortgage requirements, lending your empathetic ear to conversation in pursual of a policy that best suits their circumstances and family needs.
