This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders.

You will be responsible for creating optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications for products, parts, components, and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, reliability, durability, and serviceability. Key Responsibilities:Lead design and development for complex engineering assignments.

You will ensure that design deliverables meet the project specifications and construction requirements while enhancing team performance through focused staff training and upgraded engineering tools and systems. While this is a hybrid position, it can be based out of any Wood office, candidates who can work from Glasgow or Horsham may be prioritised.
