You will be involved in: - Designing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed network interfaces, and analogue/RF signal

You will also contribute to the overall quality of testing throughout the business – through both R&D and tech projects.

You will ultimately help to improve the quality of each of the products they develop. Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include: - Design & implement high quality tests for embedded and user-facing software applications

You will lead the engineering and technical department, overseeing the full product lifecycle of complex industrial machinery - from R&D and CAD design through to assembly-line support and final quality assurance. The role is closely embedded with manufacturing operations.

You must have knowledge of the CE Machinery Directive and EN safety standards and ideally experience with servo and PLC programming as this role covers all aspects; mechanical, electrical and limited software.

You should be a "systems thinker" who understands how minor changes can impact the physical precision of a cutting machine.

You will be working on a variety of projects and technologies, from designing PCBs with OrCAD to signal processing algorithms in VHDL and embedded C for microcontrollers.

You will often be pushing designs to an extreme. The best possible performance to enable a new technique, or extreme low power to open a new use case.

You will be based at our UK (Tewkesbury) office.

You will own Develop electronic hardware, analog and digital circuits, and embedded systems for downhole measurement and control applications. Creating system block diagrams, schematics, wiring harnesses and detailed electrical designs using engineering design software.
