You will lead the strategic development of occupational therapy practice and champion our Learning Disability and Autism specialty, ensuring our clinical and therapeutic model remains agile, evidence-based, and responsive to the needs of the people we support.

You will be joining an extremely welcoming EYFS cohort, working alongside the class teacher and teaching assistants to promote the education, well-being and development of all pupils in the reception class.

You will support him within the main classroom, designated provision and forest provision, adapting all learning material to best suit his needs.

You will be their main point of contact throughout the school day, meeting them at the school gate and walking them back to their grown-up at the end of the day.

You will take a pupil-led approach to their curriculum, focusing on key EHCP areas and supporting them with speech and language sessions (including the use of PECs, Makaton and letters and sounds).

You will lead the occupational therapy department, and be part of the senior management team. An integral part of this role will be supporting student education within the team.
