You will be in charge of building scalable backend services and awesome messaging queues.

You will be responsible for developing a Python-based back end platform that's handling 100,000+s of interactions daily.

You will shape how our engineers build, test, release, and monitor software, ensuring frictionless workflows while keeping ownership of business logic, test quality, and development practices firmly with the product engineering teams.

You will design, develop, and maintain our platform’s backend infrastructure, focusing on multi-tenant architectures, security, and efficient LLM integration. This role requires a strong understanding of Python web frameworks, cloud services (particularly AWS), and modern AI approaches including working with agentic architecture.

You will work closely with planners, environmental specialists and project teams, giving you full exposure to the complete development lifecycle. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and detailed S104 designs, while supporting the technical development of junior engineers and strengthening client relationships.

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for enterprise directory services while supporting global business functions across multiple regions. You’ll work within a collaborative, global team spanning the US regions and the UK, partnering closely with internal teams and outsourced support functions.

You will support in reverse engineering and deep understanding of vulnerabilities, including impact analysis and automation.

You must relish the challenge of findings critical vulnerabilities in complex software binaries through automation and manual practices. Creativity is highly valued; being able to find novel vulnerabilities is essential in this role.
