Senior Site Engineer jobs in Egham

You will be the technical and operational lead for critical systems, setting the standard for a team that will be built around you. You'll receive full support and handover from existing UK-based team members to ensure a smooth start.

You will support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), complete site inspections, undertake design reviews, and advise on compliance with JSP 453, JSP 440, AP 600 and key British Standards. Working closely with RAF site teams, Air SCIDA Engineers and your Telent Area Manager, you will help maintain continuity of operational services while ensuring safe, compliant and secure ICT installations.

You will lead a multi-shift engineering function, shape long-term engineering strategy, and drive improvements across safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

You will seek approval, apply, record, monitor & remove the application of Temporary Commissioning Aid’s and raise commissioning reservations and seek guidance from the commissioning manager or engineering support, when a system does not operate as expected or defects are found during the commissioning stage.

You will be based either in or around London (UK wide also considered), Paris or Frankfurt, with extensive travel to European Projects. You will be presented with complex engineering tasks and be asked to bring them to resolution with all the tools at your disposal.

You will ensure existing standards are executed and enhanced for each project.

You will evaluate designs and provide engineering analysis to balance CAPEX and OPEX costs.

You will oversee setting-out engineers and subcontractors while taking ownership of Temporary Works coordination and compliance. This is a key site-based role, ensuring technical accuracy, quality assurance, and safe delivery of works across the project. Key Responsibilities
