Senior Structural Designer jobs in Silverstone

You will champion innovation, ensure exceptional manufacturability and reliability, and pass on your expertise by mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Collaborating closely with aerodynamics, vehicle performance, and manufacturing teams, you will uphold the highest standards of quality, documentation, and continuous improvement to keep our cars at the sharpest edge of competitive performance.

You will also represent AMPT externally, ensuring a high technical and professional standard is maintained with customers, partners, suppliers, and institutions.

You will also have access to our state-of-the-art facilities at the AMR Technology Campus, featuring a new on-site gym with fitness, spin and yoga classes, a bistro café, and restaurant.

You will collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure performance and reliability, while also conducting investigations into component failures. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering and extensive experience in F1 or motorsport engineering.

You will be a key member of our Composite Design group responsible for the scheme, design, testing and development stages of varied composite components.
