You will work closely with clients, architects and internal teams to produce innovative, practical and high-quality design solutions.

You will be a clear and confident communicator, able to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines to ensure exceptional standards of delivery.

You will be required to drive as part of your role and you will need to have a full driving licence, with no more than 3 points, to be considered for this position. - Develop early-stage solutions for improvements and renewals, including compiling supporting documents, evidence, and option reports for value management.

You will be responsible for designing, supervising, and managing site investigations projects such as looking at for slope stability, landslip remediation, embedded and gravity retaining structures, and working platforms. Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer - BENEFITS - Salary - £48,000 - £52,000

You will work independently and proactively on technical aspects from a projects inception, determining client briefs, to the delivery and close out of projects in accordance with best practice.

You will support the delivery of projects both technically as well as support junior colleagues throughout the delivery of projects, including client facing roles.

You will also benefit from having: - Experience working in a regulated utility or major asset management / delivery with a wide ranging asset base - Previous experience in a commercially orientated and or regulated enviroment

You will be designing solutions for complex challenges that will meet and exceed user requirements. Responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing and delivering software solutions using a large range of techniques, including Wargames, Modelling and Simulation, Robotic and Autonomous systems, Digital Twins and Synthetic Environments.

You will help deliver operationally effective naval combat systems, ensuring complex maritime systems are safely and fully integrated. Working within a team of Combat System Engineers, you will plan and deliver integration, test, evaluation and acceptance activities, support the emerging Design Authority, and contribute to sea trials and safety evidence for system integration.

You should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team sharing knowledge and best practice

You will hold a degree in geology or similar.

You will have project management (PM) skills and experience to deliver a ground investigation project through the entire project life cycle (proposal, contract, implementation and close out).

You will take responsibility for deliverables, financial performance and client relationship management.
