You will work across a range of projects in Mid and East Lothian, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency while supporting site preparation and general landscaping duties. You will advise public and private sector clients in the construction and engineering industry on a variety of disputes, utilising processes such as mediation, adjudication, litigation, and arbitration.

You will handle your own caseload, lead teams, support junior lawyers, and play a key role in business development. The successful candidate will bring at least seven years’ post-qualification experience in contentious construction law, with excellent technical ability, strong client relationship skills, and a commercial mindset.

You will have at least 4 years’ PQE and demonstrate strong legal and technical expertise in commercial property law. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to deliver practical advice, while also building strong relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development.
