Senior Web Application Developer jobs in Bexhill-on-Sea

You will be responsible for working across all aspects of the software development lifecycle and operating within agile teams from application support and change functions. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction and supporting others to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will have strategic responsibility for the design, delivery and quality assurance of the vocational curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with senior leaders, staff, employers and external partners, you’ll ensure our vocational pathways are practical, engaging and aligned with post-16 education, training and employment opportunities.

You will be expected to provide test solutions for highly technical electronic circuits and units.

You will undertake test development strategies and develop test solutions to ensure our products meet all our quality requirements and safe functionality within the aircraft.

You will also play a major part in technical investigations, requiring a comprehensive knowledge of electronic hardware with a heavy processor/FPGA focus.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work. The core operating hours of the department are: The Conquest Hospital – 08:30 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch due to consultant clinics) Bexhill Community Diagnostic Centre – 09:00 to 17:00 (30 minute lunch) This is a cross‐site post assisting in all three locations with a single main base site.

You will ideally be qualified in hardware, electronics or an electronic systems engineering discipline.

You will typically bring to the role: A good understanding of the challenges associated with electronics engineering. Experience in describing the requirements, functions and interfaces on the component or sub-system.
