You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and you will be an excellent listener.

You will be on the General Medical Council's GP register, having passed the MRCGP (or equivalent) and gained a certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). An interest in teaching would be ideal, and the development of areas of special interest would be welcomed and nurtured.

You will be supported in your role with regular supervision and be enrolled within the Company's extensive training package. Further widespread assistance within the company is provided by our Personnel, Finance, Administration, Training and Maintenance Departments along with the extensive professional knowledge from individuals to enhance and progress in your own career.

You will be required to support the manager in the daily running of the service and must be IT literate.

You will also undertake staff supervisions and chair team meetings.

You will be working within a team to provide 24-hour cover, 7 days a week. Therefore, you may be required to work evenings and weekends and cover sleep-ins (paid at £70.47 per night).
