You will be responsible for: • Supporting the maintenance, security, and general upkeep of the school site • Assisting with routine health and safety checks, inspections, and compliance tasks • Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance work as required • Supporting site opening, closing, and security procedures

You will be required to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.

You must hold the following competencies - CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor

You will work closely with the Section Foreman to coordinate labour, plant, and materials to ensure works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with programme and budget.

You will also monitor and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their works meet contractual, quality, and safety requirements.

You will support the maintenance, security, and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and presentable throughout the school day. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will assist with health and safety checks, basic maintenance tasks, and site operations, responding promptly to issues as they arise.

You will also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers.

You will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control will also be your responsibility.

You will progress and manage all aspects of creating large scale nature recovery projects - Habitat Banks. We are looking for someone to cover a 12m maternity contract, with the chance of becoming permanent at the end of the contract.
