You will not just manage the status quo, you will lead the modernisation of service delivery to meet the challenges of changing demographics and financial sustainability. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Transformation: Leading the development and implementation of the Estates and Support Services strategies, driving organisational change and benefits realisation across the Board.

You will be responsible for reviewing enquiries, supporting tender submissions, clarifying project scope with clients, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing all technical, commercial and programme aspects of delivery. Projects typically range from small works through to multi-million pound installations within regulated industrial environments.

You will have a deep understanding of Electrical regulations and be responsible for complying with Health & Safety and building codes of practice. As a hands-on engineer, you will work closely within the Facilities & Control of Work Team, managing and performing essential maintenance and installation tasks to ensure our Facility operates at optimal efficiency.

You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.

You will also support the safe and cost-effective use of medicines within the designated clinical areas and promote the development of local initiatives to improve medicines management in NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

You will ensure that each client receives the care and attention that they need.

You will need to be able to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be very emotional and difficult for our clients.

You will greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer individual a warm and professional acknowledgement.
