Site Supervisor jobs in Thurrock

You will be responsible for the productivity and overall efficiencies of a busy workshop. Your remit will be to oversee the day to day activity and you will be ensuring that Jobs are allocated via a card system to the Vehicle Engineers.

You will be liaising with internal and external Stakeholders, sometime in a high pressured environment, so a cool head is required at all times,

You will ensure that tasks are completed safely and on schedule while maintaining high cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory experience in a similar role and strong communication skills. You will join the teaching teams and support the research project module.

You will be allocated up to 20 project students and you will be required to provide 10 hours of supervision plus marking time per student supervised. Salary: £250 per student in all locations. This includes supervisory time, formative feedback, 1st marking and 2nd marking as well as ad-hoc meetings.
