You will apply your knowledge of children and families’ legislation and regulations while collaborating effectively across Clackmannanshire. Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker: - Promote best practice in social work to support positive outcomes for children and families.

You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings. We care for individuals in long-term care settings, both skilled nursing and assisted living or personal care. We address a wide range of problems from anxiety and depression to severe and persistent mental illness to issues around death and dying.

You will be required to evidence the following criteria at interview: Experience of chairing meetings, evidence where you have supported team practice and development and examples of mentoring, facilitating student placements, groups or communities of practice.

You must have the ability to travel as per service demand.

You will undertake assessments and reviews, and where appropriate, commission services in line with departmental policies, procedures, and statutory guidance, such as The Care Act (2014).

You will understand and take appropriate part in the department’s safeguarding adults’ procedures, including identification, investigation, and taking the role of Safeguarding Lead.

You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply.
