You will apply your knowledge of children and families’ legislation and regulations while collaborating effectively across Clackmannanshire. Key Responsibilities of the Social Worker: Promote best practice in social work to support positive outcomes for children and families.

You will undertake assessments and reviews, and where appropriate, commission services in line with departmental policies, procedures, and statutory guidance, such as The Care Act (2014).

You will understand and take appropriate part in the department’s safeguarding adults’ procedures, including identification, investigation, and taking the role of Safeguarding Lead.

You will be caring, reliable and respectful, with a genuine interest in supporting others.

You will be comfortable using basic IT systems, willing to register with the SSSC, and able to join the PVG Scheme.

You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
