You will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer, play a key role in financial governance, and support strategic planning. The ideal candidate should have management accounting experience and strong analytical skills, along with a proactive approach. This position offers a blended working model and opportunities for professional growth within a dedicated team managing a substantial budget.

You will bring the ability to prioritise and organise work within a busy service, coupled with written, numerical and IT skills required to undertake basic management tasks. Ideally you will have experience of supervising an individual or small team and have experience of housing, social care of health services which you could have gained through work or volunteer experience.

You will be Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by experience accountant with strong experience preparing management accounts.

You will ideally have experience in staff supervision or mentoring but this is not essential.

You must be able to manage priorities and achieve reporting deadlines.

You will work collaboratively with schools and ELC staff to deliver a flexible, high quality, stimulating education and care-centred service designed to meet the needs of young children and their families, taking a lead role in the ELC setting, in collaboration with the SEYPs, through modelling and promoting good practice.

You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the care home. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our Residents.

You will also monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
