You will own engineering standards and all aspects of talent, performance and succession management.

You will also work closely with the SLT and company founder, ensuring our technology capabilities continue to deliver measurable impact and commercial advantage.

You will oversee a team of around 35 developers across multiple squads delivering critical software as part of our transformation projects.

You will be responsible for the inspection of machined parts received at our Farnborough site so we are looking for someone with similar experience ideally within the manufacturing sector. The purpose of the role is to provide quality control inspection of drawn parts prior to their transfer to stock.

You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to embed a strong culture of quality throughout the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System - Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001 or equivalent)

You will be exposed to new approaches, new technology, and new ideas, so a willingness to step out of your comfort zone is a must.

You will have at least 2 years of professional software development using Java.

You will have experience writing tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability
