You will be supported by colleagues and management through the year. The school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. You don’t need to have a particular subject specialism, but a willingness to step in to all lessons and a positive attitude are essential.

You will be working mostly in a 1 to 1 and small group work capacity.

You must have experience working with children who display challenging behaviours, preferably with de-escalation training. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, understanding and keen to support young people who need that little bit extra.

You must be confident working on a 1-1 basis and be comfortable dealing with students who may display more complex or challenging behaviours.
