Special Needs Teaching Assistant jobs in Barnet

You will work alongside SEN teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide pupil-centred support that prioritises communication, sensory engagement, wellbeing, and independence throughout the school day. PMLD Teaching Assistant What the Role Offers:£444£513 per week (PAYE, holiday pay included)

You will take a leading role in managing and delivering targeted mathematical support, including small group Maths interventions and Entry Level Maths .

You will assist in the delivery of Maths lessons, develop effective intervention strategies, and lead Maths learning groups for students with a wide range of abilities.

You will work closely with teachers and the SEN department to provide tailored support, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.

You will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence.

You will collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement tailored support strategies and contribute to positive outcomes for students.

You will also be required to provide 2 professional references covering at least the last 2 years, and complete our online application followed by a video or face to face interview.
