You will provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language difficulties, helping them access learning and develop confidence in the classroom.

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support and promote inclusion.

You will work closely with experienced staff and receive on-the-job education and training to support your professional development.

You must have legal right to work in the UK

You must be willing to attend a registration interviewVeritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.

You will plan and deliver play-based activities that support early language development, early literacy and numeracy, and personal, social and emotional development.

You will be responsible for observing and assessing pupils’ progress, maintaining learning journals, and working closely with Teaching Assistants and Early Years staff.

You will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions to provide additional training and support. Once the HTML & CSS courses are complete, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage.
