You will work with children and young people aged 3–19 years, delivering high-quality dysphagia assessment and intervention while collaborating closely with families and education professionals. You will be working with children with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language needs, sensory processing disorders, physical disabilities and communication difficulties.

You will help identify triggers and barriers to learning, as well as implementing your knowledge of psychological theory and apply it in the classroom.

You will be part of a dedicated SEN provision within a mainstream school, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs while enabling them to access the same learning as their peers wherever possible. The role is rooted in partnership working: SEND is not the sole responsibility of the SENCo or SEND Team, but a shared commitment across the whole school.
