steel crane operator jobs

You will be responsible for operating the overhead crane to move steel coils around the workplace, feeding the machine lines with steel coils, banding processed coils, stacking blanks and more.

You will be responsible for and your duties will include;

You will be working a two-shift pattern spread across four days, covering both day and night shifts, rotating weekly - you HAVE to work both shifts;

You will be required to start on a shift pattern, unless you are required to work nights- where you will complete a week of days to complete a risk assessment Before starting you must hold FULL SC- Estimated minimum time scale for this is 6-8 weeks Random drug test may be required prior to starting

You will be responsible for the safe setup, operation, and dismantling of mobile cranes on live sites, working closely with our operations team and appointed persons. Key Responsibilities - Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently on site - Carry out daily pre-use checks and routine crane inspections
