Structural Engineering Technician jobs in Lewisham

You will carry out the structural engineering design and drafting of a wide range of complex and interesting projects, including staircases, public sculpture, footbridges and bespoke structures, in conjunction with the design team.

You will have an awareness of fabrication with a range of materials and processes, and experience designing thoughtful and buildable solutions of the highest quality.

You will be responsible for construction planning, estimating traffic numbers, construction workforce numbers, temporary facilities required for the delivery of the project, construction staging and execution plan development.

You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment, using lean manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize down time, while ensuring products meet quality standards. Duties include following production schedules, monitoring processes, planned maintenance, and ensuring safety procedures are followed as the highest priority.
