You will take a flexible, proactive approach to all aspects of building fabric maintenance - from resolving fabric issues and assisting with PPMs to maintaining the high standards expected on site. A strong commitment to teamwork, health and safety, quality assurance, and compliance with company and client procedures is essential.

You will be expected to work on design projects involving concrete and steel mainly.

You will also be required to work on site investigation and evaluate design proposals.

You will be provided with support to meet the project commitments. You would be expected to start to work autonomously after completing few supervised tasks.

You will provide support and expert advice to other services in support of the council’s wider strategic aims and be a key link between internal and external stakeholders.

You should have experience of delivering a range of engineering projects in constrained urban environments and be skilled in improving performance and achieving excellence.
